Zac Griffith has released his debut EP Where I Belong, alongside new single Don't Let Me Go!
Reflecting on the realities of life as a touring musician, Zac wrote this song about "the feeling of being on the road and hoping to still have that loved one waiting for you back home,”
“It’s a feeling I know too well — travelling constantly and spending time in unfamiliar places — but having that person there at the end makes the hard parts worth it.”
Zac Griffith is a self-taught musician from Tapawera, near Nelson, and his rise started at the Gold Guitar Awards, which he won in 2023 at the age of 18. Since then, the rising artist has been steadily building a catalogue of heartfelt country songs, blending honest storytelling with a modern country sound that continues to resonate with fans across Aotearoa.
