Kaylee Bell has released a stunning new music video for her track ‘Once In A Lifetime’, filmed during a career-defining night at the opening of Christchurch’s One New Zealand Stadium.
The performance earlier this year marked the very first time Kaylee had played the song live, in front of a sold-out crowd of 37,000 people in her home region of Canterbury.
Written alongside Phoebe Jasper (NAVVY) and Josh Naley, the track was created as a personal memento of the historic night, with the video filmed live at the show, preserving the moment exactly as it happened.
Once In A Lifetime reflects on Kaylee's journey from her small town roots to the stadium stage, including lyrics like “Who’da thought a girl from a small town / Would play her songs to a big crowd?” & "I dreamed my whole life for this / Just had to hold tight / And it turns out, a night like this / Happens once in a lifetime"

Speaking about the release of this music video, Kaylee said: “I wanted something to mark the night - something that would outlive it. The song and the video together are a time capsule - a moment in time we can hold onto forever.”
The show stands as one of the most significant milestones of Kaylee's career so far, performing in front of a hometown crowd that included family and friends, while proudly flying the flag for country music on a major stadium lineup!
This music video's release follows Kaylee's recent return from Nashville’s CMA Fest (where Jelly Roll surprised her on stage - watch here) and continues a huge run of momentum for the Kiwi star.
We can't wait to see what happens next for Kaylee!
