Jenni Smith ft. Soft Punchlines 'Driving Home'
The final track on Jenni Smith's debut album The Girl Next Door, Driving Home is a sweet nostalgic track.
Featuring indie-folk singer-songwriter Soft Punchlines, and filmed in Jenni's hometown of Waiuki, "Driving Home is about that bittersweet feeling of returning to your hometown, and realising that while everything looks familiar, nothing really feels the same anymore - including you."

Jenni's debut album, The Girl Next Door, was a work three years in the making, and is Jenni’s most personal work to date – a collection of diary-style songs that blend country storytelling with pop sensibility. The Girl Next Door was released March 27, 2026.

Since joining New Zealand’s country music scene at the age of 12, Jenni Smith proudly embodies the ‘girl next-door’ and her songwriting style makes her music feel like diary entries: fun, sassy, and personal. With a sound rooted in pop-country, Jenni has claimed a couple of notable achievements: taking out Songwriter of the Year at the 2018 NZCMA Entertainer of the Year Awards, and 2024’s song T-Shirt landing at #3 on the Official NZ Singles Chart.
