Tyler Hubbard surprises crowd with Florida Georgia Line performance

Tyler Hubbard surprised the audience with his Florida Georgia Line duo partner, Brian Kelley, when he took the stage in his home state of Georgia last week.

Tyler performed at Ameris Bank Amphitheatre in Alpharetta on Dan + Shay's headlining The Young Tour, which also featured special guest Josh Ross. Tyler shared a clip on Instagram of the moment he brought his Florida-born duo partner on stage with him.

"I think if you guys make enough noise, we might just be able to bring out BK tonight. What do y'all think about that?" Tyler said.

The clip goes on to show highlights from the surprise FGL performance, set to This Is How We Roll, which featured Luke Bryan. The song appeared on the 2013 deluxe edition of Florida Georgia Line's debut studio album, Here's to the Good Times. Tyler wrote in his Instagram caption that he and Brian "had fun warming up for next year" on "Anything Goes Again: The Festival Tour".

The two country artists confirmed in February 2022 that they were "taking a break" as a duo to release music individually. Tyler and Brian delivered their final FGL performance in August of that year.

Many fans began expressing hopes for a reunion when the pair posted a photo together at the Country Music Association's 59th CMA Awards in November 2025. Brian later shared that he and Tyler had gone on a hike together, and posted a throwback photo of the duo in 2016. Tyler and Brian fuelled further reunion speculation before a viral moment at CMA Fest earlier this year in Nashville, Tennessee.

"We got three things we want to say tonight," Tyler said at the time. "First of all, God is good. Second of all, life is short. And most importantly, your boys," he said as Brian joined in, "we back, baby!"

Tyler later shared that the excitement "felt like I was about to play the Super Bowl or something", and said his bond with Brian is "stronger than ever."
