Is Miranda Lambert teasing new Ella Langley collab?

Miranda Lambert is keeping us guessing.

The country superstar has dropped a cryptic teaser for her new song Snakeskin Boots, and fans are pretty convinced they've already worked out who's joining her on the track.

Miranda shared a video showing off a pair of snakeskin boots before a mysterious second pair steps into frame alongside her.

The two then walk off in opposite directions before the words "featuring..." appear on screen, while we get a tiny snippet of the song in the background.

Naturally, country fans immediately started searching for answers.

Names including Lainey Wilson, Kacey Musgraves and even Taylor Swift have been thrown around, but there's one name that keeps popping up more than any other: Ella Langley.

And honestly, there are a few clues pointing in her direction.

Miranda and Ella have become quite the country music duo recently, with Miranda producing Ella's sophomore album Dandelion, co-writing her huge hit Choosin' Texas (which just broke the Billboard Hot 100 record after spending 23 weeks at No.1) and joining her on Butterfly Season.

But the biggest clue might be hiding on Ella's Instagram.

Over the weekend, Ella shared a photo of herself holding a snake. Yep, a snake. Now Miranda is teasing a song called Snakeskin Boots... Coincidence? Maybe. But country fans aren't buying it.

"The voice in the background sounds like Ella!" one fan commented, while another was much more certain: "It's very obviously Ella guys."

"I know Ella Langley when I see her," another added.

Miranda also included a yellow heart emoji with her teaser, a colour which has been strongly used with Ella and her Dandelion era.

So, are we about to get another Miranda Lambert and Ella Langley collab?

Nothing has officially been confirmed just yet, but all signs seem to be pointing in Ella's direction, and after everything the pair have already made together, we're very here for it.

Snakeskin Boots is set to feature on Miranda's upcoming 11th studio album, Crisco, which arrives on 2 October.

Looks like we won't have to wait too much longer to find out who those mystery boots belong to...
