Kelly Clarkson gushes over opening for Garth Brooks at Stagecoach in 2027

Kelly Clarkson is “so excited” to take the stage before country icon Garth Brooks at Stagecoach in 2027.

Kelly appeared on Late Night with Seth Meyers this week. Throughout the conversation, she spoke about her powerful final Kellyoke performance on The Kelly Clarkson Show, the milestone 30th season of The Voice, what she remembers about late legend Dolly Parton, and more.

“I’m opening for Garth,” Kelly beamed when Seth Meyers brought up Stagecoach. “If you would’ve told me at 10 years old that I’m opening a show for Garth Brooks, shut up. I’m so excited. And I know Trisha’s gonna be there, too, probably, and I love her."

When asked about preparing for the performance, Kelly said she aims to “just be as bada** as you possibly could be because Garth Brooks is listening.”

“This is my first time performing at Stagecoach! I’ll be the one havin’ a good time! See y’all there!” Kelly exclaimed in a statement when the 2027 line-up was announced.

Garth Brooks will headline the festival, alongside Riley Green and Zach Top. Following the duo’s viral reunion, Florida Georgia Line will deliver a late-night set during Stagecoach. The line-up will also include HARDY, Willie Nelson & Family, Brothers Osborne, Shaboozey, DASHA, STELLA LEFTY, Stephen Wilson Jr, Journey, Pitbull, Carín León, Matchbox Twenty, Cameron Whitcomb and many other artists.

Stagecoach returns to California from 23 to 25 April, 2027.
