Grace Kelly's first new release in three years is finally here, and the New Zealand-born singer-songwriter is back with an energetic pop-country anthem that's all about moving away and looking back on a relationship left behind.
Now based between the UK & New Zealand, Grace Kelly's latest single, Bad Idea, draws on the homesickness and heartbreak that can come with chasing your dreams from the other side of the world.
"It's about reminiscing on all the little memories and details of a relationship with someone, but still knowing that moving on was the right thing to do."

We've been previewing the track all week on iHeartCountry NZ, and Grace tuned in through our free iHeart app from Manchester, FaceTiming her mum back home while hearing her music on Kiwi airwaves.

Originally from New Zealand, Grace booked a one-way ticket to the UK in 2022, leaving everything behind to pursue music full-time. Now splitting her time between Manchester and home, those experiences have become the inspiration behind a new collection of songs she's preparing for her upcoming EP. Grace's love of country music began during visits to the United States as a teenager, where trips to Nashville helped shape the sound she brings to her music today.
