If you've ever felt like hitting the road, turning the stereo up and leaving your worries in the dust, Triggar Happy's new single 'Crank It Up' might just be your next anthem.
The Waikato-born country rocker continues his run of high-energy releases with a track that blends heartbreak, horsepower and plenty of attitude.
Opening with a blown-up truck, bad weather and a broken heart, the song quickly shifts gears. Instead of dwelling on what's gone wrong, Triggar throws on some George Strait, grabs the keys and heads for the horizon.
Speaking about the song, Triggar says: "Crank It Up to me means: Go For It, Have Some Fun".
It's a message that perfectly captures the spirit of the track. Packed with driving rhythms, spinning wheels and an infectious "all night long" hook, Crank It Up delivers the signature country-rock sound fans have come to expect from Triggar Happy.

Triggar Happy is carving out his own lane in Aotearoa’s country-rock landscape - fearless, genuine, and fuelled by real-life experience. Raised in Ōtorohanga, Waikato, he spent years deep in the farming world, running six farms, building a life from the ground up, and eventually losing everything. Instead of staying down, he cashed it all in, walked away from the land, and bet everything on music.
