One of New Zealand’s most beloved country bands, The Warratahs, will take the stage at the 2026 Country Music Honours during the Tussock Country Music Festival in Gore this May.
Tussock Country is Aotearoa’s biggest country music celebration, running from 22–31 May 2026 in Gore, Eastern Southland. Over ten days, fans can enjoy more than 80 events celebrating music, rural life, and community spirit.
The Country Music Honours is a night dedicated to the heart of Aotearoa’s songwriting community. Expect powerful performances from award finalists, the presentation of the APRA Best Country Song and MLT Songwriting Award, and a special appearance by The Warratahs.
