Morgan Wallen opted not to include one of his emotional singles in his set list on his headlining “I’m The Problem Tour,” so Miranda Lambert asked to cover it instead.
Wallen teamed up with Lambert and songwriter Nicolle Galyon to write “Thought You Should Know,” which appeared on his One Thing At A Time album in 2023. Lambert reflected on the day the trio “wrote this song for his [Wallen’s] mama,” she wrote in a caption on Instagram, “He doesn’t play it in his set, so I asked if I could sing it with y’all out on the ‘I’m the Problem’ Tour.”
Lambert most recently joined Wallen on his tour stop on Friday (July 11) at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, Florida. Wallen’s star-studded tour includes Brooks & Dunn, Miranda Lambert, Thomas Rhett and Koe Wetzel as direct support in the rotating lineup, and Gavin Adcock, Corey Kent, Ella Langley and Anne Wilson on select dates.
