Watch: Luke Combs' soulful cover of Teddy Swims' hit

Luke Combs covered a soulful single by Georgia-born singer-songwriter Teddy Swims, and now, some social media commenters want a collaboration.

He posted a video of his rendition of Lose Control. Teddy released the powerful ballad in 2023 on his 10-track pop record, I’ve Tried Everything but Therapy (Part 1).

Teddy replied to Luke with comments on Instagram, writing “Ayyyyyy” and “Go !!!” Other commenters — including fellow artists Kane Brown, Mitchell Tenpenny, Dan + Shay’s Dan Smyers and more — applauded the performance.

Some commenters requested a full cover from Luke, and some hoped for a collaboration between the two artists (one TikToker even suggested a collaboration between Luke, Teddy and Chris Stapleton).

Luke hasn't announced a collaboration in the works; however, he recently posted an update for fans amid a break from tour dates to spend time with his family. He and his wife, Nicole Combs, share two young sons, Tex Lawrence Combs, who turns 3 this month, and Beau Lee Combs, who turns 2 in August.

He confirmed in that update that he was “back in the studio.” He “will be doing a headline tour next year and I am actively working on new music.”
