Kelsea Ballerini vented to a genre-spanning hitmaker in a new clip she shared on social media.
The country-pop superstar sat at the bar and vented, “it’s like every guy in the world just thinks every girl in the world goes to a bar to just like, what, get hit on?” Kelsea mimicked throwing up. “If one more guy comes up to me and says that he has a truck parked outside,” she sarcastically applauded, “good job. Like, when’s the last time you called your mom? …Do you want another drink?”
Marshmello nodded.

Commenters on TikTok and Instagram expressed eagerness for a collaboration. On Wednesday (June 17), Kelsea revealed the first 30-second sneak peek of “Another Drink” with Marshmello. It wasn’t immediately clear when the song would release; however, early commenters declared it “a summer banger,” and the “song of the summer.”
Kelsea's new clip with Marshmello arrives as she continues her new chapter in New York City. The East Tennessee-born artist revealed during a Grand Ole Opry show at Carnegie Hall earlier this year, “I just moved here. Ever since I was a little kid and I got to come here for the first time I always promised myself that I would do a season or a chapter of life in the city and that season and chapter is right now. I don’t know how long that’s gonna last, but I’m really loving it.” She added later, “you can take the girl out of Nashville, but you can’t take the Nashville out of the girl.”
“I’m in love with it here,” Kelsea beamed when she joined Jenna Bush Hager and Sheinelle Jones on TODAY with Jenna & Sheinelle. Kelsea said during the April appearance that she’ll live in New York “through the summer for now,” she told Bush Hager and Jones. “I want to make my next record up here. But down the road, I don’t know. I really am loving it. It’s just such an alive place. It’s so creative. ...I’m loving this chapter of life just because I really feel like I’m being really intentional about connecting to myself.”

Kelsea's latest music to release is Mount Pleasant, a 6-track EP that arrived in November 2025 with deeply vulnerable tracks I Sit In Parks and Emerald City, among others. Her latest studio record is Patterns, a 15-track album that released in October 2024, and extended into a 20-track deluxe edition in March 2025. If Marshmello teams up with Ballerini, it will be the DJ and record producer’s latest collaboration with a country artist. His most recent song to release is Where We Go, which arrived earlier this year with Thomas Rhett. Marshmello has also joined forces with Jelly Roll, Kane Brown and more.
