Over the weekend, and across the ditch, at Strummingbird Festival, Jelly Roll gave fans a moment to remember... inviting our gal Kaylee Bell on stage for a surprise performance!
The duo tore through Keith Urban’s Somebody Like You, and The Angles' Am I Ever Gonna See Your Face Again, sparking a massive singalong from the crowd.
The spontaneous team-up came after Jelly Roll caught Kaylee’s earlier set, where she performed her viral hit Keith.
Turns out, he’d been a fan of the track for ages, he just didn’t realise Kaylee was the artist behind it! Fans spotted Jelly Roll side stage, grinning and cheering her on.

Kaylee later shared the moment online, calling it “a huge gesture” and praising Jelly Roll as “a genuine and generous human.”
It’s just the latest in a whirlwind year for Kaylee. She dropped her new album Cowboy Up in August, jumped on stage with Jackson Dean in Auckland, and continues to dominate with her signature pop-country sound, all while navigating her first year of motherhood.
Now, she’s bringing the energy home. Kaylee Bell’s Cowboy Up Tour kicks off in Wellington tomorrow, and she’ll be performing in Auckland this weekend, the same night Jelly Roll hits the stage, though not together this time.
Still, it’s a huge weekend for country fans across NZ!
