Kacey Musgraves is giving fans a glimpse of her sixth studio album with a series of cryptic teasers across social media and even on billboards.

Kacey recently posted on socials a striking billboard that read, “Dry spell? Call for a real good time.” Curious fans who dialled the number were met with a playful voicemail from Kacey herself: “This is Kacey Musgraves, and you’ve reached the middle of nowhere. No service available. Please try again later or press 1 for a real good time.” Those who pressed 1 were treated to a snippet of an unreleased song, seemingly titled “Dry Spell,” before the call ended.

Kacey then amplified the mystery with a cheeky Instagram and TikTok clip of the same song snippet, captioned simply, “you up?” Meanwhile, expired Instagram story slides have fans speculating about a potential feud or collaboration with fellow Texas country star Miranda Lambert. Neither Kacey nor Miranda has publicly commented on the rumours.

Adding to the excitement, Kacey posted another story teasing that “the dry spell ends Wednesday” alongside a visual of a spinning record labelled KM6. The recording playing from the vinyl is the same voicemail, giving fans another taste of what’s to come.

KM6 will follow her fifth studio album, Deeper Well (2024), which was later expanded into a 21-track deluxe edition. Since then, Kacey has released tracks like Lost Highway and If The World Burns Down, keeping fans engaged while building anticipation for her next chapter.

With bold marketing, cryptic teasers, and a voicemail that feels straight out of a secret club, Kacey is turning the countdown to KM6 into an event in itself. Fans are eagerly waiting to see just how this next era unfolds.
